What Makes Food not Just a Meal but an Event? Herbs that not only taste good but smell wonderful and make your mouth water before the first bite. And by having all natural herbs grown organically – we use our own Cosmic Compost that we cultivate using leaves in a fully organic method – the colors are richer, the scents intoxicating and the flavors like nothing you’ve ever tasted.
We are committed to organic methods as well as recycle, reuse and repurpose. You’ll find planters on the farm made from old pallets, Jan’s childrens’ crib repainted and repurposed as displays for drying herbs and candles and recycled containers. In addition, we sell all our dried herbs and candles in quality and funky containers that you’ll love and want to keep – and we sell refills for them so that we all do our bit to cut down on waste.
We grow our herbs, then dry them, create our unique blends – as well as individual herbs – and sell them directly to you through our website, local Farmers’ Market and at our Farm Market.
We also make numerous herb tea blends – unique combinations you’ve not tried before and just because we think they taste pretty cool.
And do you love soy candles? Come on, who doesn’t? We also make them with essential oils, especially herb essential oils, unlike anything else we’ve found.
So why do we do what we do? And what sets us apart? Why buy our herbs?
First of all, we have a passion for what we do. And we have a lot of fun doing it. When you taste our herbs, you’ll taste the difference in full flavor all natural spices.
What sets us apart? On top of the fact we’re pretty cool (at least in our own minds) – check out our blog to learn all about our life on the farm and the city’s girl’s adjustment – we love creating unique blends unlike anyone else. We sell individual herbs, like basil, thyme and oregano, but we love putting together unique blends. Jan loves rosemary and mint – her two favorite herbs. So why not make them a blend. And it rocks.
