Christmas Day Traditions

Now that there are only seven days left until Christmas, I thought it would be festive to share what our family likes to do to celebrate the holiday!

We are all reckoning with the reality of a COVID Christmas, while at the same time appreciating what we have - each other. A typical Christmas Day would involve going with Bella and Adam to my mom's house first, then to visit Adam's folks. However, to keep things safe and socially distant, we'll be spending a quiet holiday at home, just the three of us, as a peaceful way to observe the holiday. Oh, and we will also be doing a Christmas scavenger hunt! I'll be sure to take lots of pics to share how it goes in a future post.

As for our decorating style (you knew I had to add something about style, didn't you?) we love going the DIY route. Most of the ornaments and Christmas decor we have around the house are homemade treasures by Bella. It's the best way to share memories about how much she's grown over the years.

I sincerely hope all of you are enjoying your holiday season to the fullest, whether you are in the midst of celebrating Hanukkah, or prepping for Christmas or Kwanzaa. We are so grateful for everything we have, including all the friends we've made along the way while running Fangboner Farms.
